Set your foundation. Setting your foundation with a powder is a great way to ensure it lasts all day. "Use a translucent mineral powder rather than a heavy pressed powder, so you don't get the heavy talc look and it will give you a softer more natural look," the expert advised.

Want an extra tip to try? Jerome says to use less setting powder for daytime and more for evening.

Use a brush. "Applying lipstick straight to your lips from the tube can leave you with streaks and unevenness," Alexander explained. "To ensure a flawless lip color, use a lip brush to apply your lipstick."

"When applying the concealer never rub the concealer in, instead gently pat it with a sponge or your finger," he said. "Then set it with a translucent powder to ensure it lasts all day."

Line up your eyes. "If you have difficulties trying to achieve dramatic eyeliner look try to create a natural line instead," the beauty guru instructed.

"Take a pencil and draw a line at the base of the lashes for a natural eyeliner look. Pro Tip: You can smudge it to give it a smokier eye effect!"
